DMAA & HealthSciences Institute released the first health/disease management professional development survey. The survey assesses current employee hiring requirements, orientation, and ongoing development programs. Core population-based management professional competencies and continuing education needs are also being evaluated for updating the CCP program. HSI was selected to deliver the CCP program to Office of Vermont Health Access (OVHA) Staff in Williston this month. The OVHA manages all publicly health insurance programs in Vermont, including Medicaid and the State Children's' Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). Case Management Society of America and HealthSciences Institute Plan 2nd Annual 2008 CCP Pre conference August, 2007. Based on the strong response to the June 2007 CMSA CCP pre conference, CMSA and HSI announced plans to offer the CCP program as a pre conference at the CMSA 2008 annual conference in Orlando. HealthSciences Institute Delivers the CCP Certification Program at CMSA Annual Conference June, 2007. HealthSciences Institute delivered the Chronic Care Professional (CCP) program at a pre conference session at the Case Management Society of America's annual conference in Denver. Professionals from some of the largest disease management, health plan, military, and public health organizations in the US were represented. HealthSciences Institute Receives Funding from the State of Wisconsin to Deliver the CCP program in Wisconsin January, 2007. HSI was selected to deliver the CCP certification program through a partnership with Marshfield Clinic's Medicare Group Practice Demonstration program, Wisconsin counties, the Medical College of Wisconsin and Security Health Plan in a pilot program targeting community-dwelling vulnerable elders.
