HealthSciences Institute & the Disease Management Association of India (DMAI) Form Alliance

With the second largest population in the world and rapid growth, preventing and managing chronic diseases are key priorities for the health care stakeholders of India. HealthSciences Institute has recently finalized a partnership with the Disease Management Association of India (DMAI) for live and web-based delivery of the CCP program to health care professionals in India. HealthSciences Institute is working with DMAI and its other India partner, the Chronic Care Foundation of India, to deliver an inaugural live CCP session in Delhi in late 2009 or early 2010. HealthSciences Institute is also partnering with other health and chronic care improvement groups internationally. In South America, a Spanish language version of the CCP program is currently in translation, and plans are underway to offer the CCP program in nursing schools and regional health care organizations in several countries.
