XLHealth Completing CCP Staff Accreditation

XLHealth hosted an on-site CCP session for their staff on March 26th & 27th in Baltimore. XLHealth is an owner and operator of Care Improvement Plus (one of the largest Medicare chronic condition special needs plans), and a NCQA fully-accredited disease management program. According to Marci Ziemski, Clinical Nurse Education Specialist with XLHealth, "As a new health plan we chose CCP certification because we wanted to prepare our staff to deliver the latest, evidence-based disease management and health coaching services to our members. We believe that CCP staff accreditation will be an asset to our program, and will help us deliver better value to members and purchasers. We're very pleased with the program and are confident it will help us continue to drive improvement in member engagement, disease self-management, and lifestyle change." XLHealth staff are currently completing the web-based program and certification examination, following delivery of the live program in March. XLHealth will be recognized as a CCP staff accredited program following completion of accreditation requirements.
